Welcome to the Leadership Maxims Forum!
Whether you’re a new leader or an experienced one, it helps to articulate your own set of personal leadership maxims. These maxims provide you a touchstone you can refer to every day to remind yourself how you want to show up as a leader.
A maxim is nothing more than a rule of behavior or conduct. When you write a personal set of maxims that have deep emotional meaning for you, they can guide your actions and decisions as well as make you a more powerful and predictable leader for your team.
One Piece of Paper and the Leadership Maxims method require you to look at leadership beyond just leading your people. To that end, this approach covers four critical aspects of leadership:

To help you get started on creating and refining your own maxims, go to the leadership aspect forum pages above. On them you can share your own personal maxims and the stories behind them. You’ll also get to see maxims and stories from other leaders. The sharing of ideas on leadership is a core part of the leadership maxims method. Head on over to the forums now and start learning and sharing.
One Piece of Paper: The Simple Approach to Powerful, Personal Leadership is the basis for this approach to leadership. The target audience for this method is anyone in a leadership role no matter how large or small. You must have a desire to understand yourself as a leader and must want to better define and create consistency around your leadership style.
In addition to the book and this forum, classroom instruction and keynote presentations on the Leadership Maxims approach are available.
